Our first reactor.

The first one we designed and built had
the ability to react about 7 gallons of waste vegetable oil. It produced
about 7 gallons of finished product.
This reactor was rather labor intensive.
Just about everything was poured from container to container, but it did
work.
We used a large drill press and a paint
mixer to mix the components.
We made over 500 gallons of Biodiesel with
this processor!
We have conducted many experiments attempting
to produce the best product possible. We have been and are currently working
with the Chemistry department here on campus to do testing of our finished
product.
We have also had students in the shop studying
and analyzing our process. They have also done some limited testing of
exhaust emissions with an 8 horse power Kabota engine.
We also teamed up with the universities
Business Department who did and in-depth study on the feasibility of our
project. The report is here on the site. It is some very interesting reading.
